Quiet Pages, Day Four: Tools

I’m glad you're back for Quiet Pages, Day Four.

Day Four

The idea behind Quiet Pages has been to be open and rule-free. That’s why I’m not prescriptive or, to this point, even suggestive about the tools you might use to accomplish your Quiet Page daily practice. What works for you works. Still, if you’re like me, you may have a notebook, journal, or pen obsession that’s fun to talk — and write — about.

Today’s prompt: Write about your favorite tool or tools.

The nudge: You could write this as a product review or endorsement. You may even want to create a wishlist of the tools you’d like to purchase next. And don’t limit yourself to writing tools. Write an ode to a beloved air fryer or that screwdriver that got you out of a jam.

The goal: Put those favorite tools to work today on your five, 50, or 500 words.

One of my favorite mantras is, “Don’t wait for the perfect hammer. Swing!” The perfect time to write is now. The perfect tool is the one you have at hand.

Thanks for showing up and swinging away today.
